The OQL World Championships is the third of OQL’s Live VIII series of 8 quizzes taking place throughout 2025. Its global title is because the subject matter is less UK-centric than previous quizzes, and entry is open to all countries across the world, not just UK and Ireland.

Like previous OQL Live VIII events, this will be an individual written quiz consisting of 240 questions: 30 for each of the 8 standard OQL categories (see below). The full-day event will also include fun team quizzes and buzzer quizzes at each of the venues. (Teams for the fun quiz will be made up on the day)
