Founded during COVID, the Ukraine based KFL is pleased to announce a one-off written quiz tournament to celebrate five years of the league, and the IQO is happy to host a Dublin venue for this quiz to allow any interested Irish quizzers to take part. Here are the details:

• Date: Saturday 10th May 2025 from 12.30pm to 5pm approx
• Venue: Ryan’s of Store Street, Dublin 1. Located beside Busáras and Store Street Garda Station
• Quiz: 250 questions, written by Thomas Kolåsæter (Norway) & Vadym Bondar (Ukraine)
• Categories: 10 (history, pop music, visual arts, lifestyle, films & tv, geography, sports, science, literature, performing arts)
• Time: 120 minutes divided into two halves of 60 minutes – each half consists of 5 categories
• Cost: €5 payable in cash or Revolut on the day
• Registration: Walk-ins are allowed, but preferably please RSVP via email to league@quizireland.ie to ensure we print enough papers.

The two halves of the written quiz will be followed by an informal buzzer quiz (using your smartphone as a buzzer) to round out the day.

Ryan’s opens at 12.30pm on Saturday so please aim to get there by 12.45pm at the latest to get set up for a 1pm start. You will find us upstairs.

• 2.00pm-2.15pm: Marking
• 2.15pm-2.45pm: Break
• 2.45pm-3.45pm Paper 2
