The 2024 Irish Interprovincials were held on Saturday 28th September in the Dublin city centre venue of The Teacher’s Club, Parnell Square as part of the third annual Irish Quizzing Championships weekend. Here are the results, plus copies of the questions and answers.

Match 1
- Connacht A 56 – 39 Leinster A
- Connacht B 34 – 56 Leinster B
- Ulster A 50 – 39 Munster A
- Ulster B 38 – 39 Munster B
Match 2
- Connacht A 43 – 59 Ulster A
- Connacht B 38 – 32 Ulster B
- Leinster A 60 – 49 Munster A
- Leinster B 46 – 30 Munster B
Match 3
- Munster A 51 – 44 Connacht A
- Munster B 43 – 23 Connacht B
- Ulster A 38 – 52 Leinster A
- Ulster B 39 – 35 Leinster B
The scoring scheme is as follows:
- A matches:
- Win = 50 tournament points
- Draw = 25 tournament points
- Narrow loss = 20 tournament points for a 1-point loss, 18 points for a 2-point loss and so on, down to 2 points for a 10-point loss and zero for a loss of 11 points or more
- B matches:
- Win = 20 tournament points
- Draw = 15 tournament points
- Narrow loss = 10 tournament points for a 1-point loss, 8 points for a 2-point loss and so on, down to 1 point for a 10-point loss and zero for a loss of 11 points or more
So after the first three matches, here was the tournament ranking:
- Leinster: 157
- Ulster: 140
- Munster: 100
- Connacht: 83
Therefore Leinster and Ulster advanced to the final. The thrilling final (which came down to the very last question) gave Leinster their first victory in the competition and saw Ulster finish as runner-up for the second year in a row.

- Leinster 54 – 51 Ulster
3rd/4th place playoff:
- Munster 60 – 31 Connacht
