First held in 2013, the Celtic Nations is an annual international quiz tournament held every April and contested between Ireland, Wales and Scotland (and since 2023, Cornwall).

Hosting of the tournament rotates between the three founding countries. The most recent tournament was held in Glasgow in April 2024, and in 2025 Ireland will be hosting on the weekend of April 12th/13th in the town of Ashbourne, just outside Dublin. (More details to follow)

The tournament takes place over 2 days and consists of various individuals, pairs and team quizzes. Anyone is welcome to come along and take part in the individual and pairs quizzes – participation in the teams quizzes is chosen by a selection panel and is mainly based on the Irish quiz rankings.
