Over €1,000 now raised from Quarantine Quiz Packs

As of today, November 28th, the Irish Quiz Organisation is very pleased to announce that the total amount raised for charity from our Quarantine Quiz Packs has passed the €1,000 mark!

We’ve been surprised and delighted by the response since putting up the first pack in June, during the original lockdown. As a reminder, the Quarantine Quiz Packs are pre-written sets of up-to-date, high-quality quiz questions, ready for anyone to use in their quiz events with family, friends or colleagues. The packs themselves are free to download, so you can see all the questions — we simply ask for a donation to a charity of your choice in order to unlock the file containing the answers.

Dozens of people have donated amounts large and small so far, benefitting a wide range of charities, including Focus Ireland, Irish Cancer Society, Barnardos, Samaritans, Pieta House, ISPCC, Peter McVerry Trust, Irish Hospice Foundation, Women’s Aid, St Vincent de Paul, Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation, Médecins Sans Frontières, Simon Community and many more!

We greatly appreciate everyone’s generosity during what has been a difficult year for charities and those they support, since many traditional fundraising events have been cancelled or scaled back due to COVID.

Due to popular demand, we can reveal that we will be launching a third Quiz Pack in early December – with the season that’s in it, this one will feature Christmas-themed questions! Watch this space for more details…
