World Quizzing Championships 2026 – Dublin venue
Saturday June 6th @ 11:00am – 4:00pm
Please note two changes to the originally-announced details: An earlier start time (please arrive at 11.00am instead of 11:30) and we are now on the top floor of the Parnell, not the middle floor.
One day… one quiz… and thousands of people around the globe competing for the title of ‘best quizzer in the world’. It’s time for the annual World Quizzing Championships!

As in previous years, we are hosting a satellite venue in Dublin so that Irish quizzers can take part. This time we will be using The Parnell Pub on Parnell Street in Dublin city centre.
It’s an individual written quiz, so you don’t need to bring a team. There will also be a fun buzzer quiz afterwards to wind down: this is another individual quiz, where you use your phone to buzz in to answer.
The cost is €10 per person for the full day’s quizzing, payable on the day by cash or Revolut.
If you plan on coming, either register on Quizzing.com (preferred) or email iqo@quizireland.ie, so we know the numbers to expect and can have enough papers printed.
On the day you’ll find us in the top floor of the Parnell – note that the venue is fully accessible: on your left after you come in through the main doors there’s a lift serving all floors.

12:15-12:45: Part 1 answers & scoring
12:45-13:15: Lunch break (full bar menu available)
13:15-14:15: World Quizzing Championships – Part 2 (individual written quiz)
14:15-14:45: Part 2 answers & scoring
14:45-15:00: Short break
15:00-16:00: Fun buzzer quiz
16:00 onwards: Informal quizzing (numbers permitting)
