Newsflash: The 2024 Interprovincials were held on Saturday September 28th as part of this year’s Irish Quizzing Championships, with Leinster winning their first title! Full results and questions to be posted soon.
First held in 2019, the Interprovincial Quiz Championships is a new event on the Irish quiz calendar. It is a 4-way quiz tournament between teams representing the four Irish provinces: Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster.
The inaugural event was held in March 2019 in Claremorris, Co. Mayo, and was won by the Munster team.
The planned events in March 2020 and March 2021 were both cancelled due to COVID-19.
The event was held again in September 2022 and every September since then as part of the Irish Quizzing Championships weekend.
