On the weekend of 22nd – 24th April, Ireland played host to the eighth annual Celtic Nations Quizzing Championships, a highlight of the annual quizzing calendar which consists of a three-way tournament between elite quizzers from Ireland, Scotland and Wales. In the previous seven occasions the tournament has been held, six have resulted in Scotland victories, with Ireland only a single title to their name, back in 2016.
Well, after a fun and frenetic weekend of quizzing, Ireland made the most of home advantage with a comfortable victory against our Scottish and Welsh opponents to lift the trophy for only the second time!

Congratulations Ireland and here’s to next year’s tournament in Wales!
