Season 2 of the Zoom-based Irish Quiz League was held between April and May 2022, and consisted of 24 teams from across Ireland and beyond (players were also based in the UK, US and India).
- The 24 teams were arranged into three divisions of 8 teams, with each team playing each other once during the season.
- The season ran for seven weeks, every Monday night between April 4th and May 31st 2022 (excluding April 18th and May 2nd due to those being Irish bank holidays).
- At the end of the season, division champions were decided entirely on league position – unlike season 1, there was no need for playoffs or semi-finals.
- There was a total prize fund of over €1,000 with cash prizes for the winner and runner-up in each division.
- Promotion/relegation was in effect for top & bottom 2 teams in each division, for the subsequent season in 2023.
