Founded in 2015, the Dublin Quiz League (DQL) is a monthly competition where teams of 4 compete against each other in a series of quiz “matches” – basically an easier and more fun version of University Challenge (without the buzzers). At the end of the 6-month season, the top teams win cash prizes!

Matches are held in a Dublin city centre pub on one Monday evening every month, with the season usually kicking off in Oct/Nov and running until May/June.

The entry fee (to cover the full quiz season) is €60 per team of 4, or €15 per person.

We usually have a total prize fund of around €1,000 per season with generally the top two or three teams in each division winning cash prizes. (The exact value of the cash prizes are determined by the number of teams & are announced sometime after the season starts.)
